Antique Wood & Brass 17 Square *Very OLD & Collectable Tool *4 restoration* RARE

Description

This beautiful square is sold as is and is for restoration, it is rare and collectable. The iron has some pitting due to its age... its an old guy, probably handmade. The handle has some wear, with some worm holes and a small amount of wood loss on one side top.. The handle has a great holding arm that comes out to hold the square on the wood... I have never seen this. The brass inlays are all present. There are no makers marks or owners name, I am not sure if this US or european? This is a very nice old square...a very large square, and  perfect for restoring or to preserve and improved for a tool collection. RARE. Thank you for looking.
