Large & Fancy Disston & Morss 16" Try Square w/ Level and Scribe in Handle

Description

This is a large & pretty fancy Disston & Morss try square.  It is 16 inches long across the top and 14 under it.  There is pitting on the blade but many of the markings are visible.  There are brass escutcheons holding the blade to the wood and brass down each side of the handle.  It has a level with an opening in the brass to view the bubble from the top and side.  The level works.  The handle includes a scribe with a hole at the bottom to hold it.  A very nice and rare try square.  I cannot find the Disston & Morss markings but it was sold to me as Disston & Morss by a reputable tool dealer on eBay.  I have found images on the internet that correspond to the escutcheon, level opening, and scribe.
