Vintage advertising 8” T Square Ruler 1960s Chase Lumber and Fuel Co, Sun Prairie, Wis Phone 62
8” clear plastic T with 1/10 and 1/16 marks in blue. T is 1” on either side with 1/16” marks.
Geo worked for Chase Lumber in Sun Prairie, WI, from 1963 onward for some time.  This T Square is from his work days there.
It is a vintage tool and shows some use, including blue ink along a ridge by the numbers.
Chase Lumber continues to be a pillar of the SP community today.
Geo. was a master carpenter (and later a construction supervisor and lumber yard owner) who never passed up a good ruler. His working collection included a variety of sizes—some for use on building sites (loved those marked with 1/16” and other fractions), some for desk drafting work. Many were picked up from Lumber supply and insurance companies, and featured company and corporate advertising.
His rulers spanned from early 1960s through very early 1980s; so all are at 40+ years old.He also had and used handy pocket calculators for rafters/trusses/stairs.
