Vintage Antique Try Square.Seems to be Rosewood with 8 brass screws holding in brass strip-unique H style brass plate on each side.One side appears damaged.17" long x 9-5/8".2-5/8" wide steel part.Wow.

With a good glass you would make out the makers name.Its in a circular pattern.If you have 20/20 vision that would help.Can't make out numbers either.Letter M on rosewood must be previous owners mark.
